LOCATION
Hotel MITERA *** is located in the centre of Harrachov. The hotel’s amenity is
close to chair-lift (cca 5 minutes). Bus station is about 3 minutes from the
hotel.
ACCOMMODATION
Our 20 room hotel has a reception, restaurant with a bar, attached private
parking lot and a secure ski storage room. The rooms are equipped with 2 twin
beds or 1 double bed, private bathroom and a satellite TV. Extra beds for the
room can be secured upon request.
The nearby facilities include a well stocked DAVIDSPORT sports shop and ski
rental (Mitera hotel guests are offered price discounts), internet cafe, cinema
and sauna.
RESTAURANT
For hotel guests there is available restaurant providing delicious cuisine,
opened 11.00am - 22.00pm. The restaurant offers bufett breakast, half and full
board, both local and international specialities, beer from tap.
OTHER INFORMATION
Hotel is 150m away from the village bus terminal, just 200m from the downhill
ski slopes and a ski lift and 100m from well maintained cross country ski trails.
The downhill ski facility is located on a gentle downhill path and can be
reached from our hotel on your skies. In summertime there is a close-by outdoor
swimming pool, mini golf and tennis courts.
WINTER SEASON
Harrachov village resort is well known for its Olympic size ski jumping
facilities and several well maintained downhill ski hills with an artificial
snow coverage on some ski runs. The night skiing is also available. Downhill ski
slopes varies in difficulties from the beginner to expert runs. Snowboarders are
welcome on all ski slopes. The ski resort also operates excellent ski schools
staffed with expert ski instructors.
SUMMER SEASON
Well maintained and marked tourist hiking trails will lead you into the lush
evergreen forested hills and valleys that surround the Harrachov village. You
can rent a mountain bike or play a game of tennis or mini-golf. You can also
play golf on a local 18 hole golf course. White water rafting is available in
Myto on the Jizera river that also flows through the Harrachov village. The best
time is in the spring when the river is fed by melting snow from the surrounding
hills. On a 'Cert' mountain there are reserved slopes for hang gliding and para-gliding
enthusiasts. After a busy day you can sit down in the Harrachov beer brewery
with an attached glass blowing factory. While tasting the local brew you can
watch the skillful work of glass blowers right in front of your eyes.
